Strengthening Academic Partnerships: MSU and TIIKM Collaborate at ICFA 2025

At ICFA 2025 in Nha Trang, Vietnam, Mindanao State University (MSU) – General Santos, Philippines, and The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) formalized an academic partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement. This collaboration aims to strengthen research, innovation, and sustainable development in fisheries and aquaculture, fostering global knowledge exchange and advancing academic synergy across borders.

At the 12th International Conference on Fisheries and Aquaculture (ICFA) 2025, held on 16–17 September in Nha Trang, Vietnam, Mindanao State University (MSU) – General santos Philippines, formalized its commitment to advancing research and education in fisheries and aquaculture by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) as an Academic partner. 

The MoA was signed by Mr. Isanka P. Gamage, the Co-founder and Managing Director of TIIKM, Prof. Christen Penafiel, D. FishTech College Dean, College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, Mindanao State University – General Santos and Dr. Marjorie Villanueva, the Country Ambassador for Philippines, Northern Iloilo State University, Philippines, marking a significant step towards fostering collaboration and advancing research in fisheries and aquaculture. This partnership is set to bring about impactful outcomes in the sectors of sustainable development, innovation, and global knowledge exchange.
